Wesley D. discovered his passion for cooking while watching the Food Network about 10 years ago and thinking to himself, "This Flay guy is a hack". He lives in Washington, IL with his wife Faye where he sits in a cubicle all day long and works on his clients' websites. This provides him ample opportunity to daydream about firing up his ceramic cooker with only the choicest or cheapest cuts of meat. As a recovering propane griller, he now spends his time advocating the use of all-natural hardwood lump charcoal and getting into arguments with friends and family about the difference between barbecue and grilling. Hint: lots of time, low temperatures and the application of smoke if you want proper barbecue. As an avid photographer and outdoor cooking enthusiast, he hopes to use his posts and pictures to inspire other pathetic suburban males into stepping up their game a bit and trying something a little more refined than burgers and steaks on the grill.
