Spend the extra three bucks for Kingsford. Don't be a cheap ass. I'm learning the hardway, it stinks and lights horribly slow. Not happy right now!

That's one drawback lump hardwood charcoal doesn't have. No matter how cheap, all lump is pretty much the same, only 1 ingredient, whereas reg charcoal can have different mixtures with different ratios.
No pressure or anything, Thanksgiving, parents here, etc....!
Plenty of pictures, proud to say we salvaged the mission and the mesquite turkey was a bit hit with my Italian In-Laws.
